Bologna Metro. Tramway Line 1

— Project Description:

Line 1 is divided into 3 Lots and the assignment refers to Lot 1 and Lot 2A. Lot 1 runs from Michelino Depot to the Railway Station and includes 6 underground stations and 5 ventilation shafts. Lot 2A runs from the Railway Station to the Maggiore Hospital Station, and it has 6 stations, of which 5 are underground, including the very complex curved Piazza Maggiore Station. The total length of Lot 1 and Lot 2A is 7860m, out of which 6340m are in tunnels with internal diameter of 7.80m. The project includes a large depot solution with complete Environmental Management Plan and Mitigation Measures.
