All the works will be done under complete operation of the present line and of the railway plants (depot, maintenance, washing, marshaling, etc.) and without occupation of public or private areas (no expropriation is foreseen); consequently the double track, single tube tunnel will be excavated by means of a EPB-TBM with external diameter of 12m, placed parallel to the actual line and connected to it in several points through cutting and ramps.
