The Kramis dam is located on the Oued Kramis River, and is part of a hydraulic system for the water supply and irrigation of Mostaganem (North East of Algeria). The dam is located on a medium seismic zone and built on Tertiary sedimentary rocks (marl and clayey marl), recent alluvial soil (alluvial gravel deposits) and colluvial deposits.

— Project Description:

The earth dam, with a central clay nucleus, is 56m-high with 550m crest length, creates a 46Mm 3 basin with a reinforced concrete side spillway for 1,640m 3 /s maximum discharge. The intake structure is 40m-high. In addition, there are adduction and deviation tunnels.

— Description of Services:

Feasibility study, final and detailed design, works supervision and technical assistance to the owner during construction. Structural and geotechnical monitoring.
