Land Planning and engineering of infrastructures compatible with the natural environment are contributing more and more to shape our future. The consciousness of our role as geologists ultimately leads to conceive infrastructures that were sustainable for both the Earth and next generations.The Earth and all its diverse components are the final receptors/receivers of any infrastructure.
Today “infrastructure engineering” means “to plan, design and build infrastructures compatible with our territory” and thus recognize the Earth as the main element to interact and dialogue with. In these terms, in order to realize infrastructures modern, efficient and sustainable, it is necessary to accept the challenge with the Earth’s system and its features. Geodata Engineering’s technical abilities now benefit of SEA Consulting’s competences in specific disciplines, such as structural geology, quantitative geomorphology, hydrogeology and remote sensing, and even climate change. From such a collaboration the EARTH group was born.
