The project is situated between terminal part of the Chisone River and the zone of Pinerolese mountain foot. It resulted from the necessity to divert the traffic on the existing national road, avoiding passing through the center of the town of Porte.

  • Description of the works: The project alignment, developing alternately on the two banks of the Chisone river, has a total length of about 5km, and foresees the construction of 2 totally new tunnels: the Craviale Tunnel (L= 1055m) and the La Turina Tunnel (L= 660m), two bridges and 2 viaducts with a total length of about 700 m. The remaining parts of the project is built on embankments.
