The E&M (electro-mechanical) sector is based in Rome and originated in 2004 from the acquisition of I.T.E.A. (Impianti Termici Elettrici Aeraulici) an operational company working in the E&M market since 1970.

The sector focuses on plant design for transportation infrastructures (roads, railways, and metros), buildings and power plants.

The diverse activities of the E&M sector include the following:

• Electrical plants
  • HV-LV (high voltage-low voltage) plants;
  • substations;
  • lighting plants;
  • cogeneration plants for combined production of electrical and thermal energy from traditional and renewable sources (biomasses).
• Thermal and hydro mechanical plants
  • thermal and cold power plants;
  • ventilation and conditioning plants;
  • hydro-sanitary plants;
  • fire protection systems.
• Special plants
  • control and automation of plants;
  • communications (sound diffusion, telephone, interphone systems);
  • safety (fire prevention, gas and fire detection);
  • access control (Closed Circuit TV, perimeter protection).
