Go ahead for the final design of line 1 of Bologna metro-tramway (September 2008) |

GEODATA is the leader of the joint venture developing the final design for line 1 of the Bologna metro-tramway that was approved by the Conferenza dei Servizi of the Ministry for Infrastructures.
This project presented an exciting technical challenge: build a modern, technically advanced infrastructure respecting and enhancing a delicate historical urban context with the largest possible support. This was achieved by re-thinking the relationship between surface and underground. These spaces, reconsidered also through a novel technical approach, will enable creating new significant places for mobility and social life in the evolving city.
Il progetto della Metrotranvia di Bologna ha rappresentato una sfida tecnica, stimolante e difficile: realizzare, con il consenso di tutti, un’infrastruttura moderna, tecnologicamente avanzata, in grado di rispettare e valorizzare un contesto urbano delicato e ricco di storia.
Il raggiungimento di questo obiettivo è stato possibile creando un nuovo rapporto tra
la vita di superficie e quella in sotterraneo. Questi spazi, ripensati anche attraverso un innovativo approccio tecnico, permetteranno di creare nuovi luoghi di valore, per la mobilità e la socialità della città che si trasforma. |
