GEODATA has had a branch in Malaysia since 2004.
Our Malaysian staff in 2010 was entrusted with the construction operations management for the project Ala Moana Force Main No. 3&4 – Deep Microtunnelling Shaft Peer Review, Honolulu, Hawaii Islands.
Malaysian GEODATA personnel will also be committed to give technical advice and assistance in MMC-Gamuda JV (Malaysia) for the monitoring operations of the Bukit Berapit tunnels.
In 2004 GEODATA focused on the management of the IT system of tunnel operations and geotechnical instruments within the SMART project (client: Malaysian government). The project design includes construction of a tunnel (12 km long, 13.2 km of diameter) for both road use and water drainage. This tunnel was designed with modern engineering techniques, in order to efficiently tackle floods and traffic congestion.
