GEODATA has worked in China since 1990,
where it is represented by a co-owned company with headquarters in Beijing. GEODATA has been involved in various types of engineering projects since 1990, and in 2010 acquired a few additional contracts.
In fact GEODATA, together with Sichuan Tieke Construction Supervision Company (branch of the China Railway Southwest Scientific Research Institute), is currently involved in management of the first project design of the 80 km long rail connection between Hukun and Guizhou, along the Changsha-Kunming rail-link (south-eastern Guizhou Province), and as Foreign Quality Representative in the project development of the railways between Chongqing and Chengdu (120 km long), and Shenyang and Dandong (300 km long).
